My was invitied to China and is there on a tourist VISA ..good for 30 day. He has been hired unofficially by a very large international company. The company hired a firm to handle his Z VISA....the goverment sent a group to his office and they will take his passport to issue his Z visa in 1-2 weeks. During the interim he will have a written receipt showing that he has legally applied for a Z VISA. BUT if the government completes this process but after his tourist visa expires which is in 7-10 days could he be in trouble....this is one of those ????? Any advice from anyone....
